Review: A modern day reworking of Little Red Riding Hood. If you are not familiar with Little Red Riding Hood, I suggest that you read the story here http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/type0333.html or you can watch it instead at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ps77oNKabdc&feature=fvst. This movie follows a woman on her journey from victim to fighter, done through great imagery, well-drawn three dimensional characters, a great sense of tension, and a twisted sense of humor with some witty asides. It uses the elements of a fairy tale to create a realistic, modern journey. It's intelligent and thought-provoking but still exciting and accessible to a large audience. You take this roller coaster ride that twists, contorts, and spits you back out. Just when you think the ride is ending, it gives you another jolt.
