Review: Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the creepiest reflection of them all? Part horror, part mystery, this movie packs a punch while still having a story. I was completely intrigued by the imagery I was watching and enthralled with the mystery, trying to solve it piece by piece along with the detective (Sutherland). The characters were well-developed, and the acting was mostly good. There were, however, some moments where Sutherland's cursing sounded like he had Turret’s Syndrome. Other than that, I believed the characters and the relationships between them. Pretty classic and straight-forward in terms of story line, but smart and full of really weird, twisted, brilliant imagery, and that bathtub scene has horror classic written all over it.

Fun Facts: In the final shot, as Ben approaches a building, a little Korean girl in white with a bright pink sweater and her mother pass by the window. The characters are identical to those in the final shot of the original film, Into the Mirror (2003). Paula Patton was cast because director Alexandre Aja and producer Grégory Levasseur had previously considered her for their production P2(2007).
