Review: Night of the GIANT KILLER BUNNIES!!! This 70's B-horror movie had me laughing hysterically. Ironically, making bunnies bigger actually made them more adorable. This is more of a watch with a group of people while sitting around drinking kind of movie. You could even make a drinking game out of it. Take a drink every time a bunny kills someone. The sound effects were the only scary part of the whole film, and I wanted throw that little girl into the herd of bunnies because she was that irritating. I'm not sure how big the bunnies were because the scale models they were running on were so sparse that I couldn't make a comparison. I'd say they were probably the size of a tank. By the way, whoever is responsible for Janet Leigh's hairstyling should hurled into a pit of bunnies. The next time you see a bunny, be kind to it because they might one day mutate into giant bunnies that will make you wish you had never eaten a Cadbury egg.

Fun Facts: This was DeForest Kelley's last non-"Star Trek" film. As a promotional piece of memorabilia for the film, lucky rabbits feet complete with red paint ("blood") on the toes were distributed. The killer rabbit effects were created mostly by normal sized rabbits running around on miniature sets, though for some attack scenes a guy in a rabbit suit was used. 'Lepus' is the Latin term for rabbit.
