For Christians, Easter represents Christ's death & resurrection. For Jews, this is the time of Passover (which begins this year on Good Friday). For everyone else, it's a secular holiday. I'm listing Bunny themed movies cuz they're cute and I still like them & see nothing wrong with cuddly adorable bunnies, baskets, & Cadbury Eggs nom nom even if it is also a religious holiday for me. Just remember to explain to your children what the holiday means to your family, and please explain to your kids that bunnies don't lay eggs. That must confuse them.

1942 American animated drama film
Plot: A doe gives birth to a fawn named Bambi, who will one day take over the position of Great Prince of the Forest, a title currently held by Bambi's father, who guards the woodland creatures from the dangers of hunters. The fawn is quickly befriended by an eager, energetic rabbit named Thumper, who helps to teach him to walk and speak. Bambi grows up very attached to his mother, with whom he spends most of his time. He soon makes other friends, including a young skunk named Flower and a female fawn named Faline. Curious and inquisitive, Bambi frequently asks about the world around him and is cautioned about the dangers of life as a forest creature by his loving mother.

Plot: Eeyore has lost his tail, and Winnie the Pooh and his friends hold a contest to get him a new one. Featuring: Rabbit
Why I picked this: Winnie the Pooh was a huge part of my child hood. I even had an Eeyore purple hoodie that I wore well after the age I should've stopped. When I saw this trailer I knew I had to see it.. in the theater, and I did. Also, Zooey Deschanel does the theme song. Amazing!
1087 Thriller
6 Oscar nods
Plot: A married man's one night stand comes back to haunt him when that lover begins to stalk him and his family. featuring a pet rabbit with a very important role.
Why I picked this: Though I cannot fathom how this got nominated for 6 Oscars, as it's considered such a B movie now, it's still a fun, crazy good time with a bunny who you wouldn't think would be so memorable in a movie like this, til you watch it and see.

Plot: It generally parodies the legend of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail & featuring The Rabbit of Caerbannog, a killer rabbit.
Why I picked this: So I know the rabbit is just a small bit, but it's hilarious. Does someone really need that much of a reason to watch Monty Python?
The cast features Anne Hathaway, Glenn Close, Jim Belushi, Patrick Warburton, Anthony Anderson, David Ogden Stiers, Xzibit, Chazz Palminteri andAndy Dick.
Plot: It retells the folktale Little Red Riding Hood as a police investigation, using flashbacks to show multiple characters' points of view, feautring Boingo The Rabbit voiced by Andy Dick.
Why I picked this: One of those rare kids films that can be enjoyed by adults. This is a great parody that's funny, cleverly written, and featuring amazing original music by Ben Folds of Ben Folds Five.
